Dean Ambrose becomes the new Intercontinental champion at TLC 2018

Dean Ambrose beat Seth Rollins in WWE TLC to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. It was the penultimate match of the show and one of the longest of the night. Ambrose surprised himself by winning against one of the most important men of the moment. Finishing, he took a Dirty Deeds from the sleeve to take the victory by the count of three.

In this way, Dean Ambrose ends the 119-day reign of Seth Rollins as Intercontinental champion, the longest-serving ostentation of 2018. Dean Ambrose wins the Intercontinental title for the third time. The last time he got the strap was at the beginning of the year 2017.

The rivalry between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose originated in the Monday Night Raw show broadcast October 22, the same night that Roman Reigns announced his departure due to leukemia. Ambrose attacked Rollins in the main event, a spin that was originally planned for after Survivor Series.

For the past few weeks, Dean Ambrose has stayed in the shadows, appearing on Monday Night Raw on one occasion with a group of masked pardons. Seth Rollins tried to put his hand on him but ended up receiving the Dirty Deeds.
