Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson breaks the silence about possible WWE return

American actor and wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has break the silence about reports surrounding his possible return to WWE.

The WWE universe began to buzz earlier last week with the news that Johnson was going to wrestle again.

The Rock, also known as Hollywood’s highest-earning actor in recent years, he is one of the best WWE fighters ever and almost certainly the biggest star the wrestling business had.

According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast, an American actor is planned to make a return to WWE in November on his 25th anniversary since his debut.

That return was reported to lead to kick-starting his feud with Roman Reigns This run would also include a clash on both RAW and SmackDown, according to Zarian reports..

The 49-year-old spoke with ET’s Matt Cohen, along with his Jungle Cruise costar Emily Blunt.

Asked about his potential WWE return, Johnson said: “There’s nothing.”

Emily Blunt then joined the interview and quipped: “It’s gonna be me and him.”

“Yeah, it’s gonna be a tag team,” Johnson responded.

“Gonna be me and him, and there’s gonna be a big fight,” joked Blunt.

WWE champ John Cena had recently spoke about The Rock’s possible return to the ring, telling ET’s Ash Crossan: “Dwayne Johnson is a star in his own universe. There is no one like him,” Cena said, also to Entertainment Tonight.

“There will never be anyone like him. For him to be gracious enough to return to WWE, it’s own global entertainment phenomenon, that’s great for WWE and it is great for The Rock.

“As a fan of WWE, I really hope he returns. I think it would be special for everyone,” Cena added, noting that he did not want to speak for The Rock

The Rock is now one of the most popular actors in the USA, His films have grossed over $3.5 billion in North America and over $10.5 billion worldwide, becoming one of the world’s highest-grossing and highest-paid actors and it seems unlikely to see him back at WWE while having offers for acting roles.
