Ethan Carter III and Bobby Lashley Could Return to WWE Soon

Ethan Carter III and Bobby Lashley Could Return to WWE SoonWith the Road to WrestleMania around the corner, everything is possible in WWE. Bobby Lashley and Ethan Carter III could return to the McMahon company very soon, according to the PW Insider digital portal. Apparently, both fighters would be released from their contracts with IMPACT Wrestling and would have planned to return to WWE.

The same portal ensures that EC3 does not have any relationship with the company of Anthem Inc. and could sign with WWE at any time, without giving further information about it. On the other hand, Lashley will complete his contract on February 1, which eliminates him from being a possible entrant in the next edition of the Royal Rumble. However, WWE would still be interested to bring both fighters back home.

The owner of IMPACT, Dixie Carter, made a publication in her official Twitter account regarding the future professional of EC3: “Can’t tell you how proud I am to be the aunt of @therealec3. This guy is special. He deserves great things. Excited for your future E, whatever it holds. @IMPACTWRESTLING @wwe”

EC3 began his career in WWE under the development company Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2007. Shortly after he was transferred to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) under the name of Derrick Bateman. In 2010 and 2011 he participated in the third and fifth season of NXT, respectively. Bateman was released from his contract in 2013, without having been promoted to the main roster. From then until now he has remained at IMPACT Wrestling, where he has been able to consolidate 2 times world champion and once champion Impact Grand.

Lashley made his debut at the same development center as EC3 in 2004. A year later he was promoted to the main roster, capturing the United States title against JBL and making his first WrestleMania (22) the following year. In 2006 Lashley became the ECW world champion. After several attempts to make him world champion, Lashley left the company in 2008, year in which he continued his professional career in companies such as AAA, WLW or IMPACT.
