SPOILERS: Former WWE World Champion will Appear in the Lucha Underground Season 4

The El Rey Network television series Lucha Underground continues with its taping of the fourth season during these days. the pro-wrestling series has returned with news both in production and in some new fighters. New information indicates that a former WWE champion will have arrived at the company.

Jack Hager better known as Jack Swagger in WWE has agreed to appear in the new episodes of Lucha Underground. Ryan Satin of the Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that sources in the company have reported that the former WWE Heavyweight World Champion reached an agreement with television and that he started with a non-televised fight during the taping that took place last Saturday.

Even so, the information about the appearance of Hager in Lucha Underground seemed an open secret since he has been seen in videos uploaded by Lucha Underground talents in which he trained in the new location of El Templo. This way Swagger will get to participate as one of the new talents after the incorporations of other fighters like Sammy Guevara, Jason Cade or Jessie Godderz.

With this new opportunity in Lucha Underground Hager will return to American television programming. Following his departure, last year from WWE Hager has been working in independent companies around the world such as 5 Stars Wrestling in the UK. He recently announced that he had signed with Bellator and that he will participate in the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
