Johnny Gargano beats Aleister Black in a Steel Cage match during WWE NXT

In the recent WWE NXT program, Aleister Black faced Johnny Gargano in a battle inside a steel cage. The winner of this match would win an opportunity for the NXT Championship that is in the hands of Tommaso Ciampa. Before the end of the match, Ciampa intervened in favor of Gargano to help him take the victory.

The match took much of the ovation from those present, allowing Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano to show off their repertoire. However, in the last moments of the match, Ciampa surprised the fans by reaching the ring and attacking Black surprisingly.

After the attack, Gargano was astonished before the eyes of Ciampa, who proposed to him to apply the finisher that characterized them when they conformed the DIY equipment. To finish the segment, both applied Meeting in The Middle, leaving Black lying on the canvas for Gargano to proceed to iron and take the victory for three.

This rivalry has been developing for weeks, starting with the attack of Johnny Gargano anonymously on Aleister Black. This attack left Black out of action for several programs, but the latter returned to discover the identity of his attacker and face him, which he did in the previous NXT TakeOver event: Wargames II where he could take the victory over Gargano.
