USA Network will air SmackDown Live episode 988 this week from the Ford Center in Evansville, IN.
– Who will be the challenger to the WWE Championship in SummerSlam? AJ Styles expects rival and Paige will announce his opponent during the recordings of this week’s SmackDown Live show. Last week, “The Phenomenal One” took off Andrade “One Hundred” Souls, one of the fighters who wanted to snatch the title in the biggest event of the summer.
– The New Day will face SAnitY in the first round of the tournament to determine the next rivals of the Bludgeon Brothers in SummerSlam. One of these two teams will face The Usos or The Bar in the final.
– Why did Randy Orton attack Jeff Hardy? “The Viper” did not have enough in Extreme Rules and prevented Hardy from regaining the US title in the previous episode of SmackDown Live. And not only that but also knocked out and humiliated the “Charismatic Enigma”.
