WWE announced the death of legend Larry ‘The Ax’ Hennig at the age of 82 after a long illness and kidney failure. He had a short career in wrestling following a knee injury that forced him to retire, but a great track record since he has been a five-time AWA tag team champion and has already faced the
WWF champion Bruno Sammartino at the time of the WWF.

He left a beautiful legacy to his family, his son being none other than Mr. Pefect and his grandson Curtis Axel, now at WWE. By the way on Twitter, Axel wrote:

On behalf of the whole Hennig Family, thank you for your thoughts and prayers!— Curtis Axel (@RealCurtisAxel) December 6, 2018
