WWE NXT Preview: May 2, 2018

This is the preview corresponding to the NXT program on Wednesday, May 2, which will be held at the Full saSailniversity in Orlando, with the outstanding match between Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne after what happened at the NXT Takeover in New Orleans.

Dunne wanting to match the result with Roderick Strong. Fate brought them together. Selfishness tore them apart. Now, WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne’s search for revenge has led him to an all-out fight with his former teammate, NXT Tag champion Roderick Strong tonight in WWE NXT.

Tirelessly, Strong betrayed Dunne in the final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in NXT TakeOver: New Orleans in a fight that was also for the NXT Tag Team Championship, joining The Undisputed Era and helping them to retain the titles which now bet to claim as a member of the group.

The BruiserWeight has not forgotten the betrayal, promising recently to tear off Strong’s head. Can Dunne fulfill that promise, especially with The Undisputed without a doubt watching closely what happens?

The Street Profits and “The Mighty” TM61 will face each other in a tag team match. Two of the NXT’s most formidable teams will collide tonight when “The Mighty” TM61 takes on The Street Profits in a long-awaited match. Nick Miller and Shane Thorne are one of the most experienced NXT tag teams but Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have increased their presence in the ranks of the division in recent months. Which pair will prevail and be directly positioned in the search for an opportunity by the NXT Tag Team Championship?

“NXT’s Finest” Kona Reeves returns to action on NXT. Kona Reeves who has proclaimed herself “the Best” NXT Superstar returns tonight to Full Sail University ready to back his claims. The NXT Universe has not seen Reeves in many months but as a recent video shows the Hawaiian superstar has more confidence than ever. Will Reeves still be smiles after his return to the ring tonight?
