The Miz Gets another Great Record as Intercontinental Champion

The Miz has posted a video on his personal Twitter account indicating a new milestone in his history as WWE Intercontinental Champion. The video can be seen at the top of the news.

The current champion has overtaken Don Muraco and has placed second in the list of fighters who have held the title for a long time with a total of 543 days. Don Muraco with 541 goes to the third position and Pedro Morales follows first with a total of 619 days. The Miz is also the second fighter who have won the most championships a total of 8 only surpassed by Chris Jericho (9).

Note that The Miz is 76 days ahead of Pedro Morales and this could be achieved if he defends the title until after Wrestlemania 34. At the moment, The Miz has been confirmed to fight in the men’s Elimination Chamber Match and will not put the title in the match. It is likely that this figure will be more relevant when the big event of the year approaches.
