A new report suggests that Austin Aries was fired by WWE

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Austrians Aries apparently did not ask for his release from the company as has already been reported. He was said to be incredibly unpopular with the creative team and himself not content with the direction of his character.

It has the standard 90-day release in effect, which means it will get its drawback until early October, usually if a wrestler decides to leave the company it would not have been so instant Seems more like he was sacked and happy.

He is free to work approve indies until then and when the 90 days is up in early October he can go where he wants.
