Paige Officially Announces his Retirement in WWE Raw

Former two-time Divas champion announced in front of the WWE Universe that her career inside the ring was over

Tonight during the Monday Night Raw broadcast, WWE Superstar Paige announced that she will not be able to continue fighting due to her physical problems making her retirement from the ring.

The former Divas champion was presented to the WWE Universe and confirmed what had been reported months ago. the injuries suffered throughout his career ended up taking its toll, being forced to put a stop to his activity within the strings. In her speech, Paige mentioned and thanked the superstars who went through her situation as Daniel Bryan and Edge for giving her hope and for helping her understand that there is life after wrestling.

With a career spanning 12 years, Paige whose real name is Saraya Bevis debuted at the age of 13 at her family’s company arriving in WWE in 2011 as part of the former FCW development territory. Later in NXT, the native of Norwich was consecrated as the first women’s champion of the yellow mark, which she left vacant with her promotion to the main staff where she captured in her first night the Divas Championship becoming the youngest champion of the company, managing to capture the title on 2 occasions.
