Pete Dunne and Austin Aries Fight in the First Match Between WWE and Impact Wrestling Champions
The UK Champion retained his championship belt of Destiny Wrestling, James Ellsworth exchanged his title shot and turned the fight into a triple threat.
The independent promoter Destiny Wrestling celebrated last night the event “Carnage”, held in Toronto, Canada. The lure of the event was the first fight in history between WWE and Impact Wrestling champions. Pete Dunne, champion of the United Kingdom, faced Austin Aries, champion of Impact.
The victory went to Pete Dunne, but there was a surprise in between WWE ex-wrestler James Ellsworth made a surprise appearance to trade his Cobra Cup, a kind of Money in the Bank to get a shot at the title of the company, and thus turn the combat into a triple threat.
