WWE NXT Preview: May 9, 2018

WWE will broadcast a new episode of its NXT program tonight. The show will be broadcast on WWE’s official digital platform, WWE Network.

– EC3 returns to action tonight at NXT while facing former WWE Cruiserweight Classic participant Raul Mendoza. EC3 impressed greatly in his debut during the stair match that will crown the first NXT North-American champion in TakeOver: New Orleans.

Although he did not become the first North-American champion, he caught the attention of the entire NXT Universe. EC3 aims to defeat Mendoza but will enter the ring too confident, allowing Mendoza has options to take the victory?

– After its chaotic debut several weeks ago on NXT, The War Raiders will face at one of the computers that were attacked on their first night, Heavy Machinery. The ring is expected to strengthen as these two colossal duos collide in a battle for teams of epic proportions.

Will Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight have an answer for Hanson & Rowe? Or will the incursion of the newcomers continue at the expense of Heavy Machinery?

– Kassius Ohno declared that someone has to make Tommaso Ciampa feel the same impotence as Johnny Gargano after suffering the last attack at the hands of the “Blackheart”. “The Knockout Artist” believes he is ready for the challenge.

Ohno, who has traveled the roads with Gargano and Ciampa for years, was next to Johnny Wrestling when he was loaded into the ambulance on April 25. “The Striking Specialist”, will try to avenge Gargano by silencing and punishing Ciampa tonight in NXT. Will Ohno’s revenge succeed?
