This week ended up being a negative for superstar Tye Dillinger. During the WWE SmackDown Live program, the Canadian was attacked by Randy Orton who left him lying injured in ringside after throwing himself on him unsuspectingly and making sure to leave him in bad condition.
Dillinger had agreed to face Shinsuke Nakamura, the United States WWE champion this week. However, while Perfect Ten had dominated the match, The Viper came to attack Dillinger strongly in ringside, leaving badly wounded after a DDT from the edge of the ring and mocking him with a count of 10 in reference to his mannerisms.
Orton was interviewed behind the scenes about the reasons for what happened which the former WWE champion simply said was an attack produced by the fact that he just does not like Dillinger.
At the moment this seems an occupation for Orton after his match at Hell in a Cell where he defeated Jeff Hardy. Hardy is currently out of action on television after retiring in disrepair from the most recent WWE event, although he is expected to return to face Orton.
