Rhea Ripley becomes the first women’s champion of NXT UK

In the recent NXT UK program held on November 28, 2018, the winner of the women’s Championship of the brand was announced. In the encounter the superstars Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm faced, being Ripley like the winner and first women’s champion of NXT UK in the history.

After a severe punishment on the back of Toni Storm, Rhea Ripley applied Riptide to take the victory for three in the finals of the tournament for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. After the fight, WWE personalities came out to celebrate the triumph of Ripley, including Triple H and the general manager of the brand Johnny Saint.

In addition, Rhea Ripley is announced to defend her Championship again against Toni Storm in the NXT TakeOver: Blackpool event, which will be held on January 12, 2019 at the Empress Ballroom in the city of Liverpool, England. This would be the first special event dedicated to the United Kingdom division of NXT.
