Ronda Rousey Appears in WWE Royal Rumble 2018

ESPN confirms that Ronda Rousey has signed a full-time contract with WWE

Former UFC fighter Rousey made a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble event, after the women’s real battle ended in which Asuka emerged victoriously.

The Japanese fighter was the winner of the real female battle, after eliminating Nikki Bella. After the match ended, the former NXT champion was about to select her rival at Wrestlemania, but Ronda Rousey made her appearance. The former UFC Gallo Weight Champion received a huge reaction from the Philadelphia public, entered the ring and congratulated Asuka for her victory. After this, he pointed to the Wrestlemania logo, approached Stephanie McMahon and gave her a cold handshake.

Minutes after making its appearance, the ESPN portal confirmed that Ronda Rousey has signed a full-time contract with WWE. “This is my life now, my priority for the next few years of my life, it’s not a publicity stunt,” he said.

Rousey gave her impressions after her appearance and was very excited about this new stage in her life:

“I don’t have words at all,” Rousey told Shelburne of her experience Sunday night. “I’m like — this is the most overstimulated I’ve ever been in my life and … I’m just like I’m still processing it.

“I’m so happy and I don’t have words for it — and I usually have words for everything; This never happened before.”
