Ronda Rousey finished his bout at WrestleMania 35 with his hand fractured
Dave Meltzer, a Wrestling Observer journalist, reported on the last Wrestling Observer Radio show that Rousey was injured during the WrestleMania 35 main event. According to Meltzer, Rousey ended the fight with the fractured hand, the fruit of some movement that took place during the match, although no details have been given.
Sean Ross Sapp, of Fightful.com, mentioned that the end of the Winner Takes All did not have to end that way, with Ronda Rousey being played by Becky Lynch with a rollup after receiving the Piper’s Pit. Live, the movement was a bit bulky and Meltzer agrees that the fight should not end like this. Sapp said internal sources told WWE that the fight should end with Becky Lynch making Charlotte Flair, but the last order from backstage changed the plans.
What all the specialized portals agree is that Ronda Rousey should not end up being defeated by submission. It is something that has been agreed internally because she has never lost that way in any of the disciplines in which she has participated.
About her future, the plan is for Ronda Rousey to move away from the ring for a while, just as Dave Meltzer himself announced a few months ago. Becky Lynch is scheduled to appear tonight on Monday Night Raw and Rousey is not in the show’s plans.
