SmackDown Live: Mustafa Ali now a member of the roster

The McMahon family has promised a new start and new faces in the rosters (details here) and it’s done. On Dec. 11, Mustafa Ali took on WWE Champion Daniel Bryan in a Singles Match. Ali lost the fight, but he just won a place in the main roster!

Indeed, the McMahon decided to give a contract to Mustafa Ali in the roster of SmackDown Live following his good performance. Ali has officially left the Cruiserweight division for SmackDown. In fact, he participated in SD Live’s main event on December 18th in a tag team match where he counted three on WWE champion Daniel Bryan.

A very impressive achievement for Mustafa Ali, who in two years at 205 Live will never have had the chance to beat a champion of the division. It remains to be seen if he will be able to keep his momentum and make a place among the heavyweights of the WWE.
