At the end of 2017, WWE had tried to revive the Shield but nothing happened as planned. Between Roman Reigns who fell ill for TLC and Dean Ambrose who was heavily injured right after, the rebirth of this legendary team did not last long.
Now that “The Lunatic Fringe” is back officials have decided to reunite Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose again in the latest episode of RAW.
This time, several clues suggest that the reunification of this group should last several weeks or months. Already, WWE has reactivated the Shield’s Twitter account after almost two years of silence.
Better yet, the company has put online two new t-shirts to capitalize on the team’s popularity. They are available for pre-order on the WWE Shop.
It remains to be seen how The Shield will evolve in the coming days and what will be their match at Hell in a Cell in September.
