The Undisputed ERA will defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against Heavy Machinery

After sweeping through the NXT tag team division, Heavy Machinery will face its toughest opponents to date in two weeks. On December 26, the faces will be seen with The Undisputed ERA in a match where the NXT Tag Team Championships will be at stake. The General Manager of the yellow mark, William Regal, has been in charge of announcing it in the social networks and WWE has confirmed this through a press release.

Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic had been knocking on the door of a starting chance, beating teams like The Forgotten Sons or The Mighty. However, it was his performance in the last NXT weekly episode that convinced William Regal to give them the prize. It should be remembered that Heavy Machinery saved EC3 from an attack by Undisputed ERA after “The Top One Percent” defeated Bobby Fish.

For their part, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong will be chosen to defend their titles. The Undisputed ERA has the belts in their possession since July of this same year , when they beat Mustache Mountain on TV NXT to recover lost championships a month earlier. Since then, O’Reilly and Strong have managed to add a pair of successful defenses against opponents like the same Mustache Mountain or War Raiders.
