Tony Khan will be the president of All Elite Wrestling
Tony Khan, the multimillionaire sports businessman will be the president of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), the project of the independent company where the members of The Elite will be (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson and Cody Rhodes). Despite having been spoken for months, on January 1, the company was officially announced.
According to the Pro Wrestling Sheet, Khan will take on the position of president, while the Bucks and Cody will hold the positions of executive vice presidents. The medium also points out that one of the important parts to start with the company was to keep the creative team behind the ALL IN event (mainly the Bucks and Cody).
Tony Khan is known for his sports investments, such as being a co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars or Fulham FC. His name has been related to the project since the first information and leaks about AEW came out, registering the brands in the name of the Jaguars. Khan is an avid fan of pro-wrestling, in addition to maintaining a friendly relationship with the Bucks.
