WWE Announces The Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34
Last night during the Monday Night Raw broadcast, a new match for WrestleMania was announced. The WWE company will perform the rumored real battle of women, The Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal. Ithe fact that it will pay homage to The Fabulous Moolah with a Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34. Is she the best choice to be honored?
The Fabulous Moolah is one of the most important fighters in the history of the female fight. Born in 1923, Moolah had a notorious career that lasted for more than 50 years, eventually fighting in WWE with 80 years of age. She was also the first woman nominated to the WWE Hall of Fame, entering the class of ’95 along with Antonino Rocca, “Big Cat” Ernie Ladd, George Steele, Ivan Putski, The Grand Wizard and Pedro Morales.
The announcement was made by WWE through a promotional video of more than two minutes:

“One of the greatest pioneers of the women’s struggle”.
“She fought for the equality of women.”
“She was the first woman to compete at Madison Square Garden, the first woman inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and the only woman to win the Women’s Championship at the age of 65.”
“The Fabulous Moolah really paved the way for the female Superstars today.”
However, many fans began to react through social networks and criticized the announcement as Moolah (Lillian Ellison) was accused by several people of performing horrific and unpleasant acts inside and outside the ring as we had pointed out:
“Moolah is supposed to be a pioneer and the reason why there is a female division today. […] The Fabulous Moolah was a madrota [pimp], a pimp, as she sent her pupils to wrestling promoters in fixed numbers. ”
” Other rumors that were never 100% confirmed, related to the use of drugs to control their girls. […] Luna Vachon, famous in the WWE for her rivalry with Sable and her romance with Goldust, was sent (at 16 years of age) to pose for a photo shoot, which although they were with clothes, was undoubtedly an exploitation, something that would be considered as pedophilia and for adults. […] According to Penny Banner, these photo sessions were quite successful. ”
“According to Banner, Moolah offered a constant flow of semi-attractive women in exchange for money, of course, none of them knew about this previously but they found out on the way.”
An amateur wrote these very popular trills in response to WWE :
Naming it after a woman who pimped out her students and saying she “empowered women”. She did the polar opposite. Mae Young deserves this way more.
