WWE Announces the Second Season of the Mixed Match Challenge

In the last few hours, the company WWE issued a statement from its official website informing about the return of one of the most recent weekly specials. The Mixed Match Challenge will have a second edition that will start on Tuesday, September 18, from 10:00 pm Eastern Time.

The series will feature a total of 14 episodes and the participation of superstars from Raw and SmackDown Live. Like the first edition, the tournament will have an eliminatory format and will follow the rules that WWE applies to mixed matches, that is, when one superstar changes places with his partner, the other team must enter a competitor of the same sex.

The edition of this season will have some news regarding the broadcast. For the first time, the event will be broadcast live for some countries outside the United States.

The nations that will have the privilege of seeing the show at the moment will be Germany, Australia, Mexico, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, France and Spain, through the Facebook Watch platform.

Recall that the first edition could only be seen live in the United States, and days later on WWE Network. In addition, the program will last 30 minutes and will have two matches per day.

On the other hand, there are still no details about the prize that the winning couple will receive. The first winners obtained a sum of 100,000 dollars that were donated to a charitable work of choice, while each participating couple obtained 10,000 dollars. On that occasion, The Miz and Asuka won the victory and donated their prize to the Rescue Dogs Rock Foundation.

As already said, the program will have pairs of the two main brands, some participating for the second time and other superstars will return with new partners. Next the complete list:
