WWE announces three new additions to the Performance Center
Through a statement posted on its website, WWE has confirmed the addition of three new superstars: KUSHIDA, Shane Strickland, and Humberto Garza. The three are already training in the Performance Center of the company located in Florida.
KUSHIDA (Yujiro Kushida) debuted in the wrestling during 2005. In 2011 he was hired by NJPW, where he managed to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship six times, in addition to other titles in both Japan and the United States. In addition to practicing wrestling, KUSHIDA maintains an undefeated streak of six wins and two draws in mixed martial arts, a discipline in which he competed between 2003 and 2005 for Japan’s ZST.
Humberto Garza, better known as Garza Jr., is a fighter of some renown in his native Mexico. During the more than 10 years he has been active in wrestling, he managed to pass through companies such as AAA, IMPACT Wrestling, and The Crash. In the latter, he managed to win the Championships for Couples with his cousin Ultimo Ninja (who currently competes at 205 Live as Humberto Carrillo).
Shane Strickland is best known for his passage in Combat Zone Wrestling, where he has remained since he began competing in 2012. Strickland managed to be crowned heavyweight champion within the violent company, as well as twice television champion. In addition to CZW, he has also competed in companies such as Major League Wrestling, EVOLVE, or Lucha Underground, raising important titles in each of them.
