WWE confirms a new edition of NXT TakeOver: WarGames

A few hours ago, it was published that NXT will hold a TakeOver event in the city of Los Angeles during the month of November. Well, WWE has announced that this event will revolve around the WarGames stipulation, as it happened last November.

This stipulation owes its popularity to NWA and WCW, where it was relatively common. Last year, Undisputed Era, SaniTY and the team formed by Authors Of Pain and Roderick Strong began an intense rivalry near the month of November, which forced William Regal to bring back this type of combat after nearly twenty years. Finally, the combat was won by Undisputed Era.

During its history, the WarGames battles have suffered several alterations in its regulations, but in NXT TakeOver: WarGames, the fight began with the three teams locked in sharks cages outside two contiguous quadrilaterals surrounded by a rectangular steel cage without a roof. At the time of beginning the combat, each team had to choose one of its participants, who would start fighting. Every three minutes, a random team was released and joined the fight, and once all the fighters were in it, the victory could be achieved by three or submission.
