The leading company of sports entertainment is not clear. As confirmed journalist Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE would not have decided yet what the main battle of WrestleMania 35 will be, a question that should be almost closed at this stage of the road towards “The Great Event of the Year”.
Apparently, the company would be hesitant to place as main combat the defense of the Brock Lesnar Universal Championship against Seth Rollins or Ronda Rousey against Becky Lynch, the latter having the possibility of becoming the first female main event in the history of Wrestlemania. In addition, Meltzer clarifies that most likely WWE does not end up deciding until the week of the show, in order to leave more time to reflect and observe the evolution of both stories.
WrestleMania 35 will be held next Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. At the moment the only matches announced are Brock Lesnar against Seth Rollins and Ronda Rousey against Charlotte Flair, at the expense of knowing what will happen to Becky Lynch. All remaining combats will be announced after the WWE Elimination Chamber and WWE Fastlane.
