WWE has hired Mohammed Fahim, a 28-year-old former boxer from Cairo (Egypt), as confirmed by the same company through an informative statement on its official website. Although the young fighter is already on American soil, it is expected that during this week he will join the training at the WWE Performance Center.
Fahim participated in the tryout that WWE did in Dubai last year, earning the admiration of some of the people in charge of the company. More than 30 contenders from 18 different countries participated in the event, of which WWE has already hired several of them, such as Shadia Bseiso, Nasser Alruwayeh, Saurav Gurjar, Rinku Singh and Kavita Devi.
Fahim has professionally boxed since 2007, obtaining university-level titles as well as gold medals in national championships. In 2014 he began his career in mixed martial arts, getting the first place in his first championship despite the fact that his record only sustained with a victory and zero defeats.
