“Germany is an important market for our business to continue to grow, and Europe is the key region where we can recruit top-level athletes who want to pursue their dream of being a WWE Superstar.”
The first tests of access in Germany will join the list of tryouts that WWE has done around the world to try to find the future stars of the world of wrestling. The coaches and scouts of the Performance Center have visited countries such as China, the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia over the last few years. Tian Bing, Kavita Devi and Shadia Bseiso are some of the names they signed with WWE after their good performance in the tryouts.
The tryout will be held coinciding with WWE’s visit to German lands next November. On Wednesday 7 there will be a live WWE event at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne as part of the tour that the company will carry out in Europe.
The company will have one more show in Germany, specifically, at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, the following day. Tickets are still available for both events through the Eventim portal.
