WWE Live Results from Madison Square Garden December 26, 2017
WWE held its most recent live show from the famous Madison Square Garden in New York. The show was a special feature of the Raw brand, which was made on par with this week’s SmackDown Live edition in Chicago. The attendance to the event, according to declarations, has been a good one, having in addition to a noisy public during the course of the show. Below are the results of MSG:
-Matt Hardy defeated Bray Wyatt. Hardy came in with the music of Sonata for piano no. 14 by Ludwig van Beethoven. Wyatt made a promo before the fight and both were well received by the public.
-“Absolution” Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville defeated Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James. Paige pinned James for victory.
-Elias went into the ring accompanied by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Elias played Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd with the modified lyric and annoyed the audience. Heath Slater, Rhyno, Apollo Crews, Goldust, Titus O’Neil, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, The Revival and Curt Hawkins went into the ring for the next fight.
-Apollo Crews, Titus O’Neil, Goldust, Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated Curt Hawkins, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and “The Revival” Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson. Rhyno covered Hawkins with Gore for victory. Elias was in ringside but Anderson and Gallows retired.
-Enzo Amore defeated Kalisto to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Amore knocked Kalisto off the ropes and applied Jordonzo for victory.
-Samoa Joe defeated Finn Bálor. Joe applied Coquina Clutch to Bálor and Bálor fainted to stop the fight.
-Asuka and Dana Brooke defeated Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax. Asuka made Bliss surrender as soon as she could fight against her.
-Braun Strowman defeated Kane by disqualification. Kane attacked Strowman with a chair to be disqualified. Strowman played enough with the public and even imitated Hulk Hogan.
-Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan defeated “The Bar” Sheamus & Cesaro in a steel cage to retain the Raw tag team championships. Jordan managed to load Sheamus on his shoulders and allowed Rollins to escape from the cage for the win.
-Roman Reigns defeated John Cena to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The public was very noisy during the whole fight. In the final moments Reigns survived an Attitude Adjustment, then applying Spear for victory.
