WWE Would Not be Interested in Bringing Back the Slammy Awards
WWE would not intend to return the format of the Slammy Awards. According to the journalist Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the company does not think about redoing the format that stopped appearing last year.
The reason, as Johnson explains, is that WWE would be looking for a new idea because the Slammy have become outdated and decided that it would not be done again.
Johnson said that currently, the search for this new idea would not be an important issue among managers, but said that, if no solution was found, the Slammy would return in a couple of years.
The Slammy Awards are prizes created by WWE to recognize the work of their wrestlers during the year. It began to be made in 1986 and although it has had several years in which it was not celebrated, it has always been an event that gives a lot of spectacle and a guaranteed source of spectacle for big matches.
The program was made in a special edition of Monday Night Raw and had the participation of many superstars of Raw and SmackDown and legends of the company.
