WWE NXT January 2, 2019 Preview: NXT year awards will be announced today

WWE will broadcast tonight a new episode of its NXT program. The show will be broadcast on WWE’s official digital platform, WWE Network.

– Matt Riddle and Kassius Ohno will face each other in a rematch. The last time Matt Riddle and Kassius Ohno met in the ring for an impromptu match at the start of NXT TakeOver: WarGames, it was over in the blink of an eye thanks to a knee from The King of Bros.

Embarrassed and enraged by the defeat, The Knockout Artist gave Riddle a brutal beating in the Dec. 5 issue of NXT, blinding the former MMA star with a Rolling Elbow following Riddle’s victory over Punishment Martinez.

Riddle and Ohno are now ready to win in a rematch this Wednesday at NXT. Will the New Year mean a new start for the frustrated Knockout Artist or will The King of Bros start 2019 on the right foot and with another victory against one of the most sophisticated and dangerous wrestlers of sports entertainment?
