WWE NXT October 10, 2018 Preview
WWE will broadcast tonight a new episode of its NXT program. The show will be broadcast on WWE’s official digital platform, WWE Network.
-The rivalry between Ricochet, Pete Dunne and Adam Cole has been like a roller coaster and has produced countless impressive moments in recent months. However, the biggest battle in this war is still to come. This week they will face off in a three-way match in which Ricochet’s NXT North American championship will be at stake.
The general manager of NXT, William Regal, agreed to this fight after Undisputed Era interrupted the fight between champion against champion, between Dunne and Ricochet, on September 19, depriving both superstars of the opportunity to become a double champion. Adam Cole, the first American NXT champion, claimed his rematch for the title but Regal added “The BruiserWeight” to the fight, seeking justice and impartiality. His opinion is final, and in this case, it is a reason to celebrate for the NXT universe.
– Keith Lee and Kona Reeves will have the opportunity to resolve their remaining disputes tonight in the ring. Lee tried to introduce himself to Reeves when they both crossed backstage. Reeves, however, was not as polite as “The Limitless” and snapped at him for interrupting his hairdressing appointment. Then, Reeves told the new NXT superstar to wait his turn, prompting Lee to mention all the times that Kona has lost in the yellow mark. From that moment, the storm broke.
Lee continues to captivate the NXT universe with his “No Limits” performances, and this week he faces Reeves, who, despite having only words outside the ring with Lee, wants to prove what he’s done. Will the work “The Finest” and its devastating Hawaiian Drop end, proving that it is not just talking or will Reeves become a new victim of Keith Lee?
– Last week, the NXT champion, Tommaso Ciampa, gave him a message almost impossible to ignore Velveteen Dream. In addition to claiming that “The Dream” is out of focus, Ciampa said: “I will be the one to turn the dream into a nightmare.” For someone with an excessive ego like “The Dream”, Ciampa’s comments were like a compliment. The NXT universe just wants to know how “The Dream” will respond, since after all, it has focused on painting the yellow mark in purple, after big victories over EC3 and, more recently, Johnny Gargano.
– None knows what happens in the mind of Nikki Cross, but it seems to be key in the case of the mysterious attacker of Aleister Black. In the past two weeks, Cross has been implying that she knows potential suspects. First, she intervened in Sarah Schreiber’s interview with Undisputed ERA to exclaim that he knows the culprit (or guilty parties).
Last week, while reiterating her desire to “play” with Bianca Belair (whom she must face on October 17), she eerily suggested, “I know, I know, I know, I know …”. Will, he still leaves us with the Nikki Cross intrigue, or will he finally reveal what he knows?
