WWE RAW marks the Second Worst Audience data in its History
The WWE Raw episode last Monday marks an audience of 2,494,000 viewers. This represents a fall of 6.52% compared to the 2,668,000 viewers of the previous week. This last episode featured several segments such as Braun Strowman against Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins defending the Intercontinental Championship against Jinder Mahal. In the main event, Sasha Banks qualified for Money in the Bank after beating several fighters in a Gauntlet Match.
The first hour marked an audience of 2,593,000 viewers, the second dropped to 2,591,000 viewers, and the third hour 2,300,000 viewers assuming an audience drop of 11.3% between the first and third hours.
This audience data has been the worst of RAW for almost two years and the second worst in its history, only surpassed by the show on September 26, 2016, that scored 2,478,000 viewers. That day coincided with the presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump which attracted more than 30 million viewers as well as an NBA game.
RAW was the fourth most watched show on cable during the night of Monday behind the shows dedicated to the NBA Playoffs. In addition, the show was fifth in the demography of interest, corresponding to ages between 18 and 49 years. RAW had tough competition, as well as being a holiday (Memorial Day) was issued at the same time as the last game of the NBA Western Conference Final between Houston Rockets and Golden State Warrior, which managed to attract more than 18 million spectators
