WWE Rumors: AJ Styles to reach an agreement with WWE
The latest reports indicate that AJ Styles will have reached an agreement with WWE to continue in the sports entertainment company for several years. The current contract of AJ Styles ends at the end of April, after WrestleMania 35, and everything seems to indicate that it will accept Vince McMahon’s offer.
Although to this day, the widespread belief is that Styles will continue in WWE, as Cageside Seats reports the following today:
” There’s been talk about his contract coming up, AJ Styles is expected to stay with WWE in the coming years.”
“The Phenomenal One” missed a few days in November to spend time with his family and to discuss his future with WWE. During that time, he began to have conversations with the company to renew his contract although, unlike the current agreement, Styles requested a shorter schedule and some other clauses similar to those with part-time superstars.
This week, with the announcement of the arrival of AEW (All Elite Wrestling), was speculated on the possible departure of superstars like AJ Styles or Finn Balor. As far as we know, neither of these two superstars seems to be leaving WWE, although the case of AJ Styles is more evident. During the last weeks, he has received special treatment on SmackDown Live, starring in a storyline with Vince McMahon with the aim of renewing his character, or at least his essence as an important superstar.
Nicknamed now “The Real AJ Styles”, it seems that WWE intends to renew its superstar and make it one of the most important brands of its new project with NBCUniversal and FOX.
