For several weeks we have Roman Reigns as intercontinental champion, the same as The Miz has been in the filming of “The Marine 6”, but this past Monday night Raw has returned to the scene and has made his rematch for the title takes out on the day of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw and maybe for The Miz the celebration is not there.
The rumors are continuous and point to Roman Reigns fighting at Wrestlemania 34 for the universal title against Brock Lesnar to dethrone him definitely as he did with The Undertaker or John Cena. That said, Roman Reigns can only face Lesnar by winning the Royal Rumble (it’s true that there have been exceptional situations in recent years, but the rules are what they are), and it seems to us that Reigns as intercontinental champion has been a ” mere hobbies “until The Miz returned to the action, since he does not remember the person who has done more for a title in the last 5 years than The Miz with the Intercontinental title.
On paper, Roman Reigns must extol The Miz by giving him the title. A victory that would have double value once Roman Reigns conquered the Universal title against Brock Lesnar, since a grown The Miz, and Intercontinental champion again, could blush Roman Reigns saying that if he has already beaten him on one occasion he wants to return to do and now for the universal title. The victory for The Miz would make it jump from the mid-card to the noble part of the roster of Monday Night Raw and we must not forget that WWE has promoted its return as if it were a very great Superstar, Cena or Lesnar type.
