Opening Segment and Bayley (C.) vs. Carmella for the SmackDown Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross came out to host “A moment of Bliss” and they introduced Carmella as their guest. They showed old Instagram images of Carmella and Bayley hugging and Carmella explained that Bayley changed since the return of Sasha Banks. Then, Bayley came out and joined them on the stage. Bayley talked shit, but then Carmella got in her face and told her that they would fight right now for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. After a short commercial break, the match took place.
This match was entertaining and both women had several chances to win this match as Carmella, for example, kicked out of a Bayley to Belly. On the other side, Bayley had to eat a Superkick but wisely rolled out of the ring. However, in the end, Bayley pinned Carmella with a leverage pin to get a dirty win.
After the fight, Bayley attacked Carmella from behind, Naomi came out to confront Bayley and gave her a step-up Enziguri followed by a Superkick by Carmella which sent the SmackDown women’s champ to the ringside as the segment closed.
Opinion: Good opening segment, but enjoyed the match even more with several good near falls. One of the better women’s matches we saw within the last weeks on SmackDown. Anyways, I hope that at some point within the next weeks, Banks will turn on Bayley to have a big match at WrestleMania.

Backstage segments and Sheamus vs. Shorty G and Apollo Crews in a handicap match
Then, we saw some actions of Corbin last week and an official statement of WWE that Corbin would be barred this week from competing on SmackDown due to his unprofessional behaviour. After that, Bayley was seen backstage as she was quite angry and got interviewed by Kayla Braxton. She said that the next time she defends her title, it will be at WWE Super ShowDown.
After that, we saw Otis getting ready for his date with Mandy Rose as he received a text and Tucker approached him. Otis said that Mandy way running late what gave him more time to get ready. Tucker told his partner that she will like him for all that he has to offer.
Then, the handicap match took place which didn’t even take five minutes and, in the end, Sheamus picked up the win after a Borgue Kick against Crews.
Next, we saw Carmella who said towards the camera that she would want a rematch to become the new SmackDown Women’s champion
Opinion: Now, it’s definitely time for Sheamus to start a new feud since it doesn’t push him really if he just destroys Shorty G and Crews every week.

Hulk Hogan’s interview
So, Hulk Hogan got interviewed by Michael Cole and was connected with the arena “live via satellite”. Cole asked Hogan about the match between Goldberg and the Fiend. Hogan explained that he already felt the power of Goldberg and that the Fiend better tries to survive Goldberg. He got interrupted by an “FFH” (for Firefly Fun House) mock NWO video. Bray Wyatt was shown as he played guitar with his belt.
Hogan smiled and said that Wyatt would be funny, but then wished him luck for his match against Goldberg. The Universal Champion said that he wouldn’t need luck since he has a fiend and then showed an image of Hogan with crossed-out eyes and held it next to his wall of friendships. Hogan checked out and Bray waved goodbye.
Opinion: A decent segment in which Wyatt once more proved how entertaining he can be and additionally I liked it how they set it all up.

Music segment
Then, Sami Zayn was in the ring with a little guitar and Cesaro was with him who had a cowbell as they wanted to make music. However, Elias came out to interrupt them and joined them in the ring with his guitar. As they then started their musical performance, the fans permanently chanted “walk with Elias” and as Zayn and Cesaro stopped, Elias attacked Cesaro, but Zayn helped his partner. Then, Braun Strowman came out to make the save.
Then, we saw Naomi backstage who said that Bayley has never beaten her and that she knows that Naomi will be the next SmackDown Women’s champion and then they officially confirmed that next week Carmella will take on Naomi to declare who will face Bayley at WWE Super ShowDown.
Then, we saw Mandy Rose for the second time that she still waited for Otis in the restaurant.
Opinion: This was a funny segment and the crowd was totally into it. Zayn is really doing great in his current role.

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz and John Morrison
Ahead of this match, we saw how Otis arrived at the restaurant with roses in his hand. They cut to Rose as suddenly someone put his hand on her shoulder. She expected Otis, but it was Dolph Ziggler who took a seat across of her. Otis saw this, dropped the roses and left.
Next, the Miz and John Morrison came out and made fun of the Usos. Then, Roman Reigns came out and then Daniel Bryan made his entrance as he was the mystery partner of Reigns.
Logically, this match was really entertaining as we had four great athletes and the match took about 13 minutes. In the end, Miz mocked Bryan and wanted to perform a Running Knee against Reigns who countered it into a Superman Punch followed by a Spear for the win. After the match, King Corbin appeared out from nowhere to attack the Big Dog with his sceptre before leaving as the show closed.
Opinion: Good main event of the show even though it wasn’t really meaningful, but all four superstars delivered a good performance and the fight was entertaining.
Rating: B-
Summary
An average episode of SmackDown and it wasn’t that outstanding. I’m looking forward to what their plan is for Rose and Otis while I’m quite hyped for Goldberg vs. the Fiend even though I’m not sure how Goldberg will perform. Anyways, the SmackDown Women’s title picture received quite much attention in this episode what is really enjoyable.
