WWE Survivor Series: SmackDown men’s team Confirmed, The Miz and Daniel Bryan announced as the co-captains, more
On the way to the Survivor Series event, the blue brand has not wasted any time in naming its representatives. After the last edition of the SmackDown Live program, it has been confirmed that Samoa Joe , Rey Mysterio, Shane McMahon, The Miz and Daniel Bryan will be the representatives of the brand in the men’s team fight in the next WWE show.
During the program in question, Daniel Bryan and The Miz were introduced as team co-captains. Originally Bryan had been confirmed as captain but after a claim from Miz himself to commissioner Shane McMahon and general manager Paige ended up being added under the same title.
McMahon was added for consideration by both captains, who valued their victory in the final of the WWE World Cup tournament to include it. In the same program there were also 2 qualifying matches where Rey Mysterio defeated Andrade Cien Almas and Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Hardy , allowing both to take their place. Still, the team’s first steps were not the best, after this week’s program closed with a fight that started with a Joe attack on Bryan.
This will be the third consecutive edition in which male Superstars of RAW and SmackDown will face each other. Daniel Bryan, Miz and Joe will have their first participation with SmackDown. Mysterio meanwhile will represent SmackDown for the first time since his return, not counting his shares in editions prior to the latest separation of brands. McMahon meanwhile will repeat his participation last year.

– Along with the announcement of the matches, the blue WWE brand took the first steps to finish completing their representative tag team. This week The Usos faced The New Day in a match that allowed the brothers to become captains of the blue team . Even so, they announced The New Day as part of the team as a sign of respect.
This match will have its second edition this year , after its first occasion in 2016 after the most recent division of brands of the company. At that time the RAW team managed to get the victory, being just The Usos the last ones eliminated from the SmackDown brand.
Both tag teams of The Usos and The New Day will repeat their performances after their fight in 2016. At the moment both duos remain the only ones announced for the fight, but it is expected that in its next edition of Monday Night RAW the red mark will begin to confirm to their own representative couples.
