Through a message on their social networks, Gabe Sapolsky, vice president of talent relations, creative and marketing area of WWN Live and main scriptwriter of EVOLVE, FIL, Style Battle and WWN Supershow has revealed that the Japanese wrestler Munenori Sawa will participate again with the company for the shows that will be held during the Wrestlemania weekend.

After the revelation of the participation of Daisuke Sekimoto, Sapolsky has impacted with the news of the return of Sawa. In this way the Japanese fighter is incorporated into the billboards of events to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. EVOLVE will perform two shows, on April 5 with EVOLVE 102 and on the 6th with EVOLVE 103. Additionally, on the 6th, a show of WNN Live Experience 2018 will take place (event carried out by WWN and which brings together all the companies under its ownership) in which Sawa will also participate.

For now, Sawa joins the list of fighters already confirmed, some with exclusive appearance during those dates. Among the talents already announced are: EVOLVE champion Zack Saber Jr., WWN Live champion Keith Lee, WALTER, Timothy Thatcher, Matt Riddle, DJ Z, Darby Allin, Will Ospreay and Daisuke Sekimoto. Additionally, the first meeting was unveiled, which will take place on Thursday, April 5 at EVOLVE 102 and will face Daisuke Sekimoto and Munenori Sawa against the Ringkampf team (WALTER and Timothy Thatcher).

Munenori Sawa is a renowned wrestler of pro-wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Sawa is known for his style with strong punches and submissions but has also incorporated comedy parts throughout his career with his parody of Keiji Mutoh, Lingerie Mutoh. He has participated in companies such as ZERO 1 and Battlarts, which became his home after he became a full-time pro-wrestling fighter in 2005. Sawa has previously competed in EVOLVE, fighting in EVOLVE 1 against TJP and in EVOLVE 5 against Bryan Danielson. Sawa retired in 2011 before the close of Battlarts. After that, he has made several special appearances in different companies.
