There have been a number of boxing and MMA fight crossovers in the past, and it would not be a surprise if we were to see more happen in the future as well.

Whilst it did not necessarily feature the typical art of MMA (mixed martial arts), there have been a number of moments in the WWE when boxers have stepped into a different type of squared circle and have gone up against opponents.

Famously, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson mixed with superstars such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho on numerous occasions (including in the AEW with the latter), whilst Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather appeared at WrestleMania 24 in 2008 when he took on the Big Show in a ‘No Disqualification’ match that saw the boxing legend win by knocking out his opponent with brass knuckle dusters.

Speaking of Mayweather, he has also helped make the MMA/Boxing crossover happen, as he had a fight with Conor McGregor back in August 2017. The boxer would go on to win the bout via TKO in Round 10, with almost 15,000 people ringside watching the action unfold.

Indeed, there are hundreds of thousands of people betting from various places on contests like that, which is why it is important to know how to bet successfully on these kinds of events.

The first thing for sports betting fans to do is to look for the best bonuses available, whether they be boxing betting offers or MMA betting offers. By making sure that you take advantage of these, you will instantly be in a better place than many others as you could potentially win more despite making the same bet as others.

Furthermore, it is important to check out as many sportsbooks and bookmakers as possible before the sporting event happens. Although this can be rather time-consuming, it can also help to earn you more money in the long run.

Not all bookmakers and sportsbooks will offer the same competitive odds or diverse betting markets as each other, therefore by spending a bit of time ‘shopping around’, you could potentially earn more money. Think of it being the same as shopping around for different deals, it is exactly the same process.

Once a bookmaker that is hosting the boxing/MMA crossover event is found and selected, then placing a bet would normally be a rather simple task and one that can be done without too much thought process. Online gambling outlets generally make things as easy as possible to help punters make timely bets when they need to.
