What happened to SAnitY?

The stable SAnitY were during their run in NXT one of the most dominant forces in all of WWE. When they were brought up to the main shows, they also had some good moments and it looked as they would also play a certain role in the tag team division of SmackDown. However, now SAnitY don’t exist anymore, and the superstars are on different shows. So, what happened to them?

Their time on NXT and the call-up

In the beginning, the stable existed of the head of the group Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton. Wolfe and Fulton even reached the semi-finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2016. This was the first time that the stable SAnitY appeared on a regular base on NXT.

However, during the begin of the year 2017, Fulton got injured and got taken out of the show. They involved it in the storyline the way that Young stomped on his jacket signalising that Fulton would be no longer a part of the group. Killian Dain somehow replaced him and became the new member of SAnitY. Between then and 2018 they were one of the main forces in NXT and also held the NXT Tag Team Championship. Besides, they also were part of the WarGames match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames I. They faced “The Undisputed Era” Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly and the team of “AOP” Akam and Razar, and Roderick Strong.

However, in 2018 they moved to SmackDown Live as part of the Superstar Shake-up, but Cross stayed on NXT as a singles competitor. Considering this, just Wolfe, Dain and Young were on SmackDown where they bet the Usos in their first night and at the PPV Extreme Rules, they won in a six-man tag team tables match against the New Day. So, they defeated two of the greatest tag teams of our time. Anyways, the rest of the year 2018 they almost never got any TV time and in April 2019, for example, they lost against the Miz in a three on one handicap match. This perfectly describes their status on SmackDown at that time. However, since then many things changed.

Eric Young

The former leader of the stable is currently the one who is clearly booked the worst way compared to the other three performers as we’ll see later on. During the 2019 Superstar Shake-Up, he got drafted to RAW and so SAnitY split completely up. On RAW, he just rarely gets matches and never had a real feud or anything like that. In light of this, he’s somehow in no man’s land.

Killian Dain

Dain returned to NXT where he has a good standing. He works as an aggressive guy who just beats up everybody who crosses his path. Besides, he had within the last weeks great storylines. At first with Matt Riddle which resulted in an awesome street fight which was the main event of the NXT episode of the 18 November. Then, he started a feud with Pete Dunne and Damien Priest which led to a triple threat match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. The winner of this match would face Adam Cole for the NXT Championship just one night later at Survivor Series. Anyways, Dunne won this match, but it just proves which high standing Dain has on NXT.

Alexander Wolfe

The German moved to NXT UK where he is part of the stable “Imperium” besides NXT UK Champion Walter, Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner. Considering this, his booking is way better than compared to how it was on SmackDown.

Nikki Cross

And then there is the only woman of the former stable SAnitY. She is currently part of SmackDown and she and Alexa Bliss build a tag team who already held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships for 62 days. Besides, she is in general one of the biggest stars of the women’s division.

Considering the current situation of all four members, the former head of the stable Young has clearly the worst booking. Besides, they are all four on different shows and due to that revival of SAnitY isn’t that likely for the upcoming months.
