Who will be Bayley’s opponent at WWE’s WrestleMania 36?

Due to the coronavirus, WWE will host WrestleMania in the Performance Center in front of no crowd like also the last episodes of NXT, Raw and SmackDown took place. However, this WrestleMania has still the chance to be one of the best we ever had due to the matches which are already on the card. Even though the atmosphere will be maybe a bit weird when for example Goldberg and Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre will go one-on-one in front of empty seats, but the card promises that this could be an awesome show. While we have with AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker and Edge vs. Randy Orton two incredible non-title matches, the already mentioned fights for the World Championships are also interesting feuds (even though nobody can explain to me why Reigns got a title shot).

Furthermore, we have with Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship and Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler for the Raw Women’s Championship two amazing fresh feuds for two out of the three women’s titles.

Now, one of the greatest questions ahead of WWE’s WrestleMania 36 is clearly who will face Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Champion. It is clear to say that Bayley was within the last weeks and months in the shadow of Lynch, Ripley and their feuds with Baszler and Charlotte respectively. However, this could be a chance for Bayley to get more attention again.

Naomi or Carmella

Of course, both of these women had within the last weeks title shots, but in truth, they are the only women on the SmackDown roster who have the level to be something like challengers for the title. Lacey Evans is also an option, but we had a feud between Bayley and Evans not long ago and due to that this would make no sense.

Naomi and Carmella both had title chances but in both cases, there was no real feud or rivalry with Bayley. Due to that, these two female wrestlers are options, but in truth, there is only one perfect opponent for Bayley at WWE’s WrestleMania 36.

The best solution: Sasha Banks

The history between these two women is already really long. They were in a fatal four-way match with Charlotte and Lynch back then in  2015 when Banks won the NXT Women’s Championship to lose it 192 days later to Bayley in a singles match between these two women.

They became the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions last year at Elimination Chamber to then lose it at WrestleMania 35 to Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. After that, Banks took a break to return in August 2019 as a heel and in October 2019 Bayley also had her heel turn. Since then they are a kind of a team as they work together, and Banks helps Bayley to continue her run as SmackDown Women’s Champion.

So, within the last years, they were sometimes enemies and in other periods they worked together. Surely, it is now the right moment for another feud since it’s not long to go until WWE’s WrestleMania and until now Bayley has no opponent. Hopefully, they will go with the Boss and let her turn on Bayley.
